Chanson of Rivedroite,France

Seine flows past the centre of Paris, and divides the city into two parts, left bank and right bank. The Paris citizens regard Rivedroite as the possession of culture, while take right bank as the symbol of money and politics. The Latin Quarter of Rivedroite is the place of culture soul land, and also the birth place of French literature, philosophy, art, revolution and bohemian.

Parisian name the north of the Seine as right bank, where located superior department stores, boutiques and hotels; and the south of the seine as left bank (Rivedroite), there are so many colleges and culture institutions in Rivedroite, so the young people are in the majority. The cost of living here is relatively lower than right bank. Around the Latin Quarter you can see coffee shops all over the place, book stores and universities, most of the book stores sell old books written on the yellowing papers with latin.

After the Second World War Hemingway resided abroad in Paris, he has left so many papers about Paris when he wrote at Cafe de girofle at Rivedroite poorly, and he recorded his later years at Paris in his collection of essays: A Moveable Feast. And he has associated with a lot of famous writers…The Rivedroite is well-known as the place where refined scholars could talk everything under the sun. Some of the travel books recommend a café called Cafe de Flore, which is a shop that Sartre ( French philosopher) and his lover would come around together almost everyday to kill time. This café still kept his famous saying of “Nerveuses liberté de la flore de la route” on the menu.
